Nomination counts are visible only to staff. Scholars never see a tally, including their own — they see the award itself once it is recorded as a milestone. Recording writes a milestone the scholar can see on their own profile as an earned award. Withdrawing removes it the same way; neither notifies them, since nothing here does yet.
